I did miracle knotless on myself for the first time ✨
So I attempted miracle knots on myself for the first time and they came out way better than expected. Being a loctician I don’t braid ever fr and always just get someone else to do mine but I was away from home and needed my hair done. So by trail and error I got into a groove and got it done.
The only reason it took so long is bc I had to keep stopping for my baby and god children. Once I got to work I was finishing rows left and right.
Definitely a style anyone could do on themselves just need good gel, a three way mirror(especially for the back), and human crochet hair. #miracleknotbraids #iseehairbeauty #burmesecurlyhair #knotlessonmyself
Doing knotless miracle braids on myself was a real test of patience and focus. As a loctician, I'm used to doing hair professionally but never on myself. This experience taught me so much about self-care and the art of braiding. One key tool was definitely the three-way mirror — it made tackling the tricky back sections much more manageable. Without it, I’d have been guessing the placement of my braids, which often leads to unevenness. Another important factor was the choice of hair extensions. I used six packs of Burmese curly human hair from iseehair, which blended nicely and helped cover the lighter, blonde spots I forgot to dye black first. The curls gave the style a natural, full-bodied look that I really loved. Patience was essential; I had to pause often for family duties, which extended the process to about eight hours. If you’re considering doing this yourself, I recommend setting aside an entire day to avoid rushing. Good quality gel helped keep the front edges crisp and neat—it only took about three hours to complete just the front, a good sign of progress and efficiency. From this experience, I truly believe anyone can do miracle knotless braids on themselves with the right preparation, tools, and mindset. Taking breaks is okay and doesn’t mean failure. Instead, it can make the process more enjoyable and less stressful. Practice is key, and each braid will improve your confidence and skills. So, gather your supplies, find a spacious setup with good lighting and mirrors, and give it a try—you might surprise yourself like I did!
