Happy holidays yall 🫶🏽
I’m grateful for so many things this year, including sobriety, a closer relationship to God, clarity, abundance, confidence, amazing friends, and family 🙏🏽
What are you grateful for this holiday season?
It's truly wonderful to pause and appreciate everything we have during the holidays, isn't it? My heart is overflowing with thanks for things like sobriety, growth, and the incredible people in my life. But beyond just feeling grateful, I've found so much joy in expressing that gratitude and creating a festive atmosphere that amplifies those feelings. One of my favorite ways to lean into the holiday spirit is through decorating. Seeing a beautifully adorned Christmas tree, sparkling with lights and ornaments, instantly fills me with warmth. I love adding little touches, like a festive wreath on the door, to welcome that holiday magic into my home. It’s not just about aesthetics; it’s about creating a space where reflection feels natural and comforting. The golden reindeer statues and illuminated angels I've seen lately also inspire a sense of wonder and peace. This season is also perfect for connecting with those amazing friends and family I mentioned. Whether it's a cozy gathering around a modern fireplace, sharing stories, or simply enjoying each other's company, these moments are truly precious. I often like to serve up some special holiday treats – maybe a festive holiday drink in a snowflake-patterned glass, or a selection of delicious petit fours, just like those delightful little cakes. It adds an extra layer of sweetness to our celebrations and makes everyone feel cherished. Sometimes, the simplest gestures make the biggest impact. I try to make it a point to tell my loved ones how much they mean to me. It could be a heartfelt card, a small thoughtful gift, or just a genuine conversation. Even admiring outdoor Christmas light decorations, like those beautiful illuminated angels, can spark a sense of wonder and remind us of the beauty in the world. Cultivating gratitude doesn't have to be grand; it can be in the quiet moments too. A serene evening spent reflecting on the year's blessings, perhaps by the glow of the Christmas tree, can be incredibly powerful. It’s about recognizing the abundance, the confidence gained, and the clarity found, and carrying that positive energy forward. What are your favorite ways to celebrate and give thanks during this magical time?
