Jelly Cat Store -Chicago

Nordstrom

Went to see the Jelly Cat store located in Chicago!

I bought the reindeer, and snowman!

Went around 5:30 on a Sunday and the wait time was about 40 minutes. The store is not that big and people go in groups so it is overwhelming going by your self. If you’re going for key chains they were limited when I arrived, and they did have a few bags in stock!

👍Pros : jelly cats

🤔Cons: the amount of people

... Read moreOh my goodness, fellow Jellycat enthusiasts, I finally made it to the Jellycat store in Chicago, and I have so much to share about my experience! If you've been wondering, "Is there a Jellycat store in Chicago?" or "Where exactly is the Jellycat store in Chicago?", the answer is a resounding YES! It's currently a special 'Jellycat Road Trip Joy' pop-up located right inside Nordstrom in downtown Chicago. This is a crucial detail, as I know many of us search for the exact location. My visit was on a Sunday around 5:30 PM, and as the original post mentioned, the wait time was about 40 minutes. It's definitely a popular spot! Given that the store itself isn't huge, and people tend to go in groups, it can feel a bit overwhelming, especially if you're venturing in by yourself. My personal tip would be to try visiting earlier in the day or perhaps on a weekday if your schedule allows, to potentially avoid the peak crowds. It’s definitely an experience to navigate! Inside, the store has a charming blue facade and blue walls, with shelves absolutely brimming with numerous plush toys. It's truly a feast for the eyes! I loved seeing some of the unique displays, like the light blue motorcycle with a sidecar, featuring a large black cat plush toy riding shotgun and a white dog plush toy in the sidecar. It makes for some really cute photo opportunities while you're waiting or browsing. When it comes to stock, I noticed that keychains were quite limited when I visited, but they did have a few bags in stock. Beyond that, there was a fantastic variety of Jellycat creations, from the tiniest Fuddlewuddles to the more substantial Bashfuls. Now, for the big question: is it worth the trip? For me, absolutely! Finding my Ruby the reindeer and Carrots the snowman made my day. They're even cuter in person! If you're looking for specific items, it's always a good idea to check Nordstrom's website or even call ahead for their Jellycat Chicago hours and stock availability if you can. While the crowds can be a 'con,' the sheer joy of being surrounded by so many adorable Jellycats is a definite 'pro.' I hope my visit helps you plan yours – happy Jellycat hunting!
