2024
2024 was a pretty eventful year for me i’d say. it had its ups and downs. many things happened. i am grateful for 2024, but i’m also glad its over. let’s talk about some stuff that happened :)
-in january, i went to san antonio to watch my at the time boyfriend graduate air force bmt. i also went to the gym a lot :)
-in february, my now fiancé took me ring shopping and proposed❤️💍 i visited him quite often in tech school. we also did a thing (it’s a surprise for 2025 hehe)
-in march, i was still visiting him in tech school and he visited home for the first time since he left for bmt.
-in april, me and him found out something amazing. was still going to the gym. i also went through something sad :/
-in may, i turned 20 and got to spend my golden birthday with him. we went to colorado (my first time being there) and watched his cousin graduate high school. (i loved the mountains)
-in june, he graduated from tech school. we moved to louisiana, got our first apartment together. visited home. and started making our new home feel more like home.
-in july, we went back home to kansas for the 4th and shot off fireworks with his family. was still frequently going to the gym.
-in august, we started our little family by adopting a kitten. his name is Lord Voldemort Reaper of Souls and his nickname is Ducky. (he picked the name, i picked the nickname😂) i finally got a job down here. we also went back home for labor day weekend and spent time with family.
-in september, we were still in kansas at the beginning of it. i finally got my braces off after 2.5 years. not much happened this month, just adding stuff to our home, and working pretty much. still going to the gym.
-in october, we celebrated our 1 year of being together❤️ we went to the texas state fair in dallas and also went to a pumpkin patch in dallas. still going to the gym and working. we spent halloween in matching pajamas at home.
-in november, still adding stuff to our home. spoiling our little man. working non stop. we did get to go to kansas for thanksgiving. i didn’t go to the gym this month due to constantly working :/
-in december, we put up our very first christmas tree. still working, i also didnt go to the gym this month due to working :( we went back to kansas for christmas. visited family. wore matching pajamas on christmas day. and just enjoyed being back in kansas as much as we could. (side note, i would never move back there😭)
i’m very excited to see what 2025 has in store for us and everyone around us. 2025 will hopefully also be very eventful. happy new year everyone!❤️🎉
The year 2024 was significant for many, serving as a period of growth and transformation. Newlyweds and couples often reflected on their engagements, with memorable moments echoing through months—like proposal surprises and shared travels. Celebrating milestones such as turning 20 or graduating from school also marked personal achievements. Many faced daily life challenges, balancing work, fitness routines, and quality family times, especially during holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Engaging in community events, such as local fairs and family get-togethers, made the year memorable for a lot of us. As we look towards 2025, there is collective anticipation for new adventures, personal reflections, and the hope of continued happiness in a shared journey.
