ADHD/OCD help
Found a way to guide my ADHD/OCD. I’ve been doing this almost a month and a half now and it’s actually working out for me every day I update the board if I don’t finish something I just transferred it to the next day and consolidate what I need to where I need to for when I need to. This is not my only whiteboard I have one for laundry I have one for the entire house and property, I have one for bills and I have one for our weekly schedules and appointments. I wish I would’ve thought and done this sooner. Just want to share for anybody else who’s a visual person and all over the place like I can be if I don’t see it! 😊
please excuse the bubbles in my board I have not quite mastered that part yet lol.
Managing ADHD and OCD can be challenging, but utilizing visual aids such as whiteboards can significantly improve your organizational skills and daily routines. Many individuals find that visually tracking their tasks helps focus their thoughts and reduces feelings of overwhelm. When setting up your whiteboard, divide it into sections for different aspects of your life, such as chores, bills, and schedules. This way, you can prioritize tasks and allocate time more efficiently. Regularly updating your board serves as a reminder of what needs to be done, and transferring unfinished tasks to the next day allows for a flexible yet structured approach. It's also beneficial to categorize tasks into manageable chunks, avoiding the feeling of being overwhelmed by a long to-do list. Embracing technology, such as smartphone apps designed for task management, can also complement your visual strategies, ensuring you stay on track even when away from your whiteboard. Consider reaching out to communities or support groups online that share similar experiences, as they can provide additional tips and encouragement on your journey to managing your ADHD and OCD.

Welcome! Can’t wait to see more from you in the future💛
