Have you ever been... using a "very cheap" tissue and suddenly burning your face?
Many people think it's allergic to cream, allergic to foam washing, but maybe the reason is the tissue we wipe every day.
Why can cheap tissues make them "allergic / irritating"? 🧻⚠️
1) Coarse fiber + lots of dust (unwitting skin cut paper)
Some tissues, fiber grades break easily. There is dust. When wiping hard, especially when having a cold, the skin scrapes small → burning, red, easy to peel.
2) Substances used to make "white / soft / fragrant" may be a trigger for hypersensitivity.
Some models may contain bleach, perfume, or a coating to give a slippery touch, which with sensitive skin can cause itching / rash.
3) Recycled paper or uneven production
Some lots may contain residues / contaminants from the manufacturing process, making the skin more susceptible to irritation.
4) Poor storage = damp / dust / mold
Tissue placed near the bathroom, under the sink, or frequently exposed to moisture can have a stale smell and increased skin lavishness (especially using a face towel).
A warning sign that the tissue "isn't right with our skin." 🚨
Wipe it. Burn / itch. Immediately.
Red skin or small rash.
The skin peels around the nose and mouth when it's cold.
There's dust on the face or easy flaky paper.
How to choose / use to be safer ✅
Choose a soft, little dust, no smell / no color.
If the skin is very sensitive, use a tissue to wipe the face or a good quality design.
Wipe time: Light mop instead of hard rubbing.
If it's red / burning, stop using it and apply a mild moisturizer, and if it's heavy, see a doctor. 👩⚕️
