Grad school, life and overall.

Wow, is all I keep saying to myself. Spring last year my life was completely different! The Kia soul I was driving at the time slid off the road during the middle of my final year of my undergraduate degree and that made things more difficult to manage.

However I’m grateful that at the time I was living in my hometown so I had a lot of support from my family and friends.

Now, I live in a new city and state on my own and it’s been one hell of a ride. When I moved things weren’t immediately better either. I moved with about $600 to my name, no job and pending financial aid. I also had no idea where I’d be living until about 3 weeks before I had to move for school.

Since in the new city, I’ve moved twice, this new apartment would be my third place I’m staying while here!

I’m so eager to make this a home for myself and somewhere I can be comfortable for a while.

Regarding, comfort by the way I also bought a car!! So now I’m able to look for a part time job that will allow me to have less pressure financially.

My ultimate goal is to study and create work while in grad school but these changes to my life are overwhelming and exciting. I cannot wait until im able to bring in a salary that will allow me to be fully comfortable.

Overall? Grad school has been a journey but it’s coming around to be something worth the wait.
