A little throwback one of my favorite makeup look

Hey glam lovers! I wanted to dive a bit deeper into this gorgeous throwback makeup look I shared. It’s truly one of my favorites for a reason – it just screams effortless glam, perfect for a night out or when you just want to feel fabulous. Achieving that radiant, glamorous makeup look isn't as hard as it seems, and I’m excited to share some of my personal tips and tricks to recreate something similar! Let's talk about those shimmering purple and gold eyeshadows. The key here is layering! I usually start with a matte purple in the crease to build definition, then press a vibrant shimmery purple on the lid. For that extra pop of gold, a touch of metallic gold shadow or even a gold glitter liner in the inner corner or center of the lid can really elevate the look. Blending is your best friend here to make sure everything transitions smoothly. Don’t forget a good primer to make those shimmers last all day (or night!). For the lips, a brown matte lipstick is so classic and chic. It really balances out the vibrant eyes without competing. To get that perfect matte finish, I always prep my lips with a gentle exfoliant and a hydrating balm first. Then, I line my lips with a matching brown liner – this helps prevent feathering and gives a crisp edge. Finally, I apply the matte lipstick directly from the bullet or with a brush for precision. There are so many amazing brown matte shades out there, from warm nudes to deeper, richer tones. Find one that complements your skin tone! That glowing skin truly pulls the whole glamorous makeup look together. My secret for a radiant base starts with good skincare, of course! But for makeup, I love using a hydrating primer and mixing a few drops of liquid highlighter into my foundation. This gives an all-over luminosity without looking greasy. I also strategically apply a powder highlight to the high points of my face – cheekbones, brow bone, bridge of the nose. For a fresh finish, a setting spray is a must, especially one that adds a dewy glow. It helps melt all the powders into your skin, making it look seamless. This stunning look works beautifully with various hairstyles, but I often find it pairs wonderfully with short, highlighted hair, as it frames the face and highlights the makeup. And for accessories, a simple gold nameplate necklace adds a personal touch without overpowering the dazzling eyes.
