Calling all single ladies!! Here are 5 red flags to look out for as you are navigating those online dating streets. I don’t think online dating is going anywhere even if the numbers of real matches are minimal. Save this for later to prevent your time being wasted.
🚩1. Incomplete Profile/No Solo Photos. The profile is the easiest part of online dating. It’s literally all about you! If a guy doesn’t take the effort to complete his profile fully.; then he doesn’t have the CAPACITY to take effort in you. Think about it? What is it that they could be hiding by not completing the profile? Also, no solo photos? Only memes? So, many photos of family members and dogs that you can’t tell who the actual person is? 😂 No thanks, Swipe left!!
🚩2. If the relationship type contradicts the relationship status, swipe left. I personally don’t believe you can want a “life partner” then say your not sure wether or not you’re monogamous. Figure that out. Deep dive. You should be certain of how you want to approach dating so, that you can attract the right people. No one has time to be strung along.
🚩3 . “Freak” a slang term used to describe someone appetite for sex. However, how many of us actively aware of our sexual appetite and participate in taboo’s like bdsm? This is a clear indication that the guy just wants a f@ck buddy. Most likely a vanilla f@ck buddy. 😂. Real “freaks” aren’t so loud and vocal about their desires. Save that for 3rd or 4th date. If you want to have sex just say that?! If that’s not what you’re into, swipe left. (Lemme know if you want a detailed post about this 😉)
🚩4. “ I’m not on here much so follow me @bozo.clown on IG” 🙄 If you want more followers sir, just say that! Lol, if they went out of their way to create a profile but not utilize the platform thats a red flag, love. You also have to be careful because certain apps like Hinge report misconduct but, they can’t do so if its not on their own platform. You’re safety is important. Swipe left.
🚩5. Okay, we’ve gotten through the bs and we’ve finally had a descent conversation going for the last few days, the vibes are right. The guy finally asks….”So, when are you free? Let’s go on a meet and greet!” 😮🤔 I swear this was my face when I first heard this too 🤣 cuz what exactly is that? He’s not a celebrity , sis. If he can’t properly articulate that he wants to go out on a date or leave plans for the date up in the air. Promptly, tell him about himself and unmatch. Don’t waste time trying to get clarity, because if he was the right one for you. You wouldn’t be so confused in the first place sooo early on.
