Sunset at the park.
I was out late yesterday evening getting some things at the store and noticed the sun was setting and decided to go to the park and walk and take some pictures. I go to 3 different parks, it does depend on where I'm at, what time of day it is and how long I want to walk as to which one I go to. This park is the smallest of the 3, but great views. I like this park for my short sunset walks. I can see the mountains on the one side and the trees and houses on the other side. It would be nice to see the mountains on both sides, but the way the hills are, you can't. The sky is still pretty on the other side, too.

This gives you time to find a nice spot and watch the transformation. Secondly, dress comfortably and bring layers, as it can get surprisingly cool once the sun is gone. And don't forget to charge your phone – not just for photos, but for safety in case it gets darker than you expect. Finally, remember to simply slow down. It’s not a race. Take deep breaths, look up, and truly soak in the ephemeral beauty of the moment. It's a wonderful way to end any day.
