How many months have Y’all been together?

Wow, it always makes us smile when people ask, 'Y'all are so cute, how many months have you been together?' or even just 'Months?!' when they see us. Honestly, it feels like just yesterday and a lifetime all at once! For those of you wondering, our journey didn't start a few months ago, but way back in 2007. Yes, you read that right – we’ve been together for over 18 years now, and counting! It’s incredible to look back at our relationship timeline and see just how far we’ve come. Our story truly began in 2007, two young souls just starting out. We navigated those early years, learning about each other and growing together. Life threw its curveballs, like that scary moment in 2010 when I was in the hospital, and he was right there by my side, showing me what true commitment meant during a tough time. It’s those moments, big and small, that really solidify a bond and make you realize you’ve found your person. Then came the beautiful chaos of expanding our family. In 2011, we welcomed our first little one, and suddenly our world was forever changed, in the best possible way. Seeing him hold our baby in his military uniform... it's a memory I cherish so much. Being a military family means unique challenges, but also incredible strength and resilience. We learned to cherish every moment together, knowing that deployments could be just around the corner. By 2015, our family was growing, and he was proudly serving in his U.S. Army uniform, holding our daughter with that American flag dress – a truly iconic family photo for us. Fast forward to 2021, and our little crew had grown to four amazing children! It’s a full house, full of laughter, love, and sometimes, a lot of noise! Taking that selfie outdoors with all of us together just shows how much our family has blossomed. And even now, in 2023, we're still finding new ways to connect and enjoy our time, like those quiet outdoor night settings where we can just be us. People often ask, 'how many years have you guys been together?' and 'how many months you are together,' always surprised by the answer. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it. What’s our secret? Communication, unwavering support, and never forgetting to laugh. We’ve been through thick and thin, celebrated countless milestones, and supported each other through every challenge. Looking ahead to 2025, standing with our four beautiful kids at an outdoor event, maybe even grabbing a 'CORN DOG' – these are the moments we live for, building our future together. Our love story is still being written, and I wouldn't trade a single chapter for anything.
