Protein pick ups from Costco
Costco for our weekly grocery pick up and here are my high protein items I grabbed this week
I grabbed some turkey bacon and chicken sausage I can flip back and forth between for a few weeks (take a sleeve and freeze the rest)
Eggs are sooooo expensive! Not the basic white eggs costing what the organic brown eggs used to
I don’t have the chicken breast ick anymore so we are going to load up
I love to sip on bone broth and it’s an easy way to get some collagen and protein
I love seafood and tuna, shrimp, and sardines are an easy way to eat high protein for lunch

Okay, friends, I've had so many of you ask about Kirkland Signature Extra Lean Ground Turkey at Costco, and I totally get why! It’s a game-changer for so many high-protein meal preps, and honestly, it’s a staple in my kitchen when I can grab it. While my last haul focused on some other fantastic finds like chicken breast and chicken sausage, I wanted to dedicate some space to this absolute gem. Finding it at Costco can sometimes feel like a treasure hunt, but trust me, it’s worth the effort. Usually, it's right there in the refrigerated meat section, often in those convenient multi-packs. What I love most about the Kirkland Signature version is its incredible leanness. It’s perfect for when you’re really watching your macros but don’t want to sacrifice flavor or versatility. It cooks up beautifully and absorbs seasonings like a dream, making it incredibly adaptable to almost any cuisine. So, how do I use it? Oh, the possibilities are endless! For a quick weeknight dinner, I'll brown it up with some taco seasoning for easy turkey tacos or a hearty taco salad. It’s also fantastic in stir-fries – just add a medley of your favorite veggies and a savory sauce. Another go-to is mixing it with some breadcrumbs, an egg, and Italian seasoning for lean turkey meatballs that pair perfectly with zucchini noodles or whole wheat pasta. I've even used it as a healthier alternative in lasagna! Compared to some of my other protein pick ups like tuna or sardines which are great for quick lunches, ground turkey offers more bulk for dinners and family meals. And while bone broth is amazing for collagen and gut health, ground turkey provides that solid, satiating protein for muscle repair and growth. Even with eggs being a fantastic breakfast option, having ground turkey ready to go means I can whip up a high-protein breakfast scramble or even a breakfast burrito stuffing in minutes. The great thing about stocking up on Kirkland Signature Extra Lean Ground Turkey at Costco is that you can easily portion it out and freeze what you don't use immediately. This makes meal prep for the week a breeze. Just thaw a pack, and you’re halfway to a delicious, healthy meal. It’s truly one of those Costco finds that consistently delivers on quality, value, and health benefits, making it an essential for anyone focusing on a high-protein diet. If you haven't tried it yet, definitely keep an eye out on your next Costco run!
