🌴💍 Last Day of Vacation… and What a Week It’s Been! 🥹❤️

Our last day of vacation is here, and I honestly don’t know where the time went! 😭

We spent our anniversary trip making the BEST memories together — walked the pier 🌊, played mini golf ⛳️, relaxed in our room, enjoyed a seafood buffet 🦀🍤, soaked up the sun on the beach 🏖️, and spent plenty of time relaxing by the pool.

It wasn’t about doing something extravagant every day. It was about having time to slow down, laugh, eat good food, enjoy the beach, and just be together. ❤️

5 years married and I’m so grateful for this man and the life we’re building together. 💍🥰

Tomorrow we officially head home, and then it’s back to reality!

Hubby goes back to work Tuesday 👔 and I have to start getting myself ready for the 2026–2027 school year! 🍎📚✏️

Vacation mode ➡️ back-to-school mode REAL quick 😂

I’m definitely going to miss waking up near the beach, but I’m leaving this trip with a full heart, a bunch of memories, and SO many pictures. 🌴❤️

Would you rather have a relaxing beach vacation or an action-packed one? 👇🏖️

Often, vacations become about rushing to see and do too much, but taking time to enjoy the simple pleasures — like walking along the pier or playing mini golf — allowed us to bond deeply and appreciate each other's company. One experience that stood out was savoring the seafood buffet. It wasn’t just about the delicious food, but the joy of sharing meals without distractions, surrounded by the beach ambiance. In addition, soaking up the sun on the beach and relaxing by the pool gave us the downtime our busy lives often deny us. For anyone planning a beach vacation, especially for an anniversary or special occasion, I recommend prioritizing moments that foster connection over extravagance. Whether it’s a quiet morning coffee on the balcony or a sunset stroll along the shoreline, these are the memories that linger. As someone preparing to switch from vacation mode back to daily routine and work, I also found that embracing the transition mindset helps ease the shift. Packing away souvenirs and photos keeps the vacation spirit alive even when back home. And if you’re a teacher or parent heading back to school season, planning ahead during these last vacation days can reduce stress. Ultimately, Myrtle Beach offered the perfect backdrop — its calm beaches, family-friendly activities, and relaxing atmosphere make it an ideal spot for a rejuvenating getaway. Whether you prefer a laid-back beach vacation or an activity-filled trip, there’s something for everyone here. For us, the slower pace created lasting joy and reinforced the foundation of our married life. Would I recommend this kind of vacation to others? Absolutely. Sometimes, the best trips aren’t the ones packed full of sightseeing, but those where you slow down, reconnect with loved ones, and return home with a full heart.
