Just 2 girls tryna to survive of a leg day
Leg day can be notoriously tough, and from personal experience, it’s all about pacing yourself and focusing on proper technique rather than just lifting heavy. When we started incorporating exercises like deadlifts and single leg presses into our routine, understanding the correct angles and form made a huge difference—not only in muscle activation but also in preventing injury. For example, the leg curl and kickback exercises are fantastic for isolating specific muscle groups, but doing them with a poor angle can reduce their benefits and strain your joints. One thing we've learned is that communication and motivation between workout partners keep the energy high. When one of us feels like giving up, the other encourages staying put and pushing through, which is honestly half the battle. Also, don't underestimate the power of trying different reps and weights; sometimes, adjusting these slightly can help you find what truly works for your body. If you’re struggling with leg day, consider breaking your session into smaller segments focusing on different muscles, like we do with the deadlift, single leg press, leg curl, and kickbacks. It keeps the workout varied and helps avoid burnout. Remember, consistency and listening to your body are key to surviving and thriving during leg day workouts.
