Book Nook Tour
My in progress book nook tour🥰
For the most part l've been reading e-books on my Kindle because I don't have a lot of room for bookshelves to house printed books...
But three weeks ago I got a small book haul while shopping with a friend and the thrill and excitement of picking out printed books hit me... I realized it was something I missed and wanted to expand on!
I bought a couple of bookshelves to fit into a corner of my bedroom and thus my in progress book nook is alive!
I've got a tall bookcase for my paperbacks, a smaller bookcase with wider shelving for my hardbacks, a spot for my TBR stack and a little stool for aesthetics (or the cats lol).
It's not pretty nor is it extravagant but it'll get the job😌
Setting up a book nook can be an enriching experience for book lovers. It begins with selecting the right bookshelves to accommodate your collection. For that snug corner, consider a tall bookcase for paperbacks alongside a wider shelf for hardcovers. Organizing your TBR (To Be Read) stack prominently can motivate you to dive into your next read. When planning your book nook, consider the layout and aesthetics. Add personal touches like cozy stools or decorative items to enhance your space. It's not just about functionality—it's crucial to make your reading corner visually appealing. Furthermore, the ambience can significantly improve your reading experience, so soft lighting and comfy seating are key. Lastly, don't forget to curate your book collection. Balancing genres and mixing new finds with beloved favorites can create a vibrant personal library that inspires you every day. Whether you love romances, thrillers, or enriching non-fiction, your book nook should reflect your unique tastes and encourage daily reading. Happy reading!
