NLE Choppa Quicc Design
I got a call at 8am for a 1pm video shoot. They needed me to create a look for Choppa if lined by the cover art picture for his new single Bryson (at the time) I had some white fabric in my loft, and I started creating!
Things came together well and fast! I put the look on Choppa and I actually got to help creative directing for the video! #credits
This was a while ago, but I figure I would share some of my fashion moment memories! In hopes to inspire someone to be creative and keep going!
Wow, it's amazing how a single project can spark so much creative energy, right? Thinking back to that NLE Choppa video shoot, it really highlighted how fashion isn't just about clothes; it's about storytelling and capturing an artist's essence. When I got that call, the primary inspiration was the 'Bryson' single cover, which had this incredible 'From Dark to Light' theme. It wasn't just about making an outfit; it was about translating that visual concept into something wearable that would shine on screen. For those of you wondering how to dress like NLE Choppa or looking to incorporate some of his unique flair into your own NLE Choppa fashion looks, it often comes down to a few key elements. His style frequently blends urban aesthetics with bold, sometimes unexpected, details. Think about strong silhouettes, often monochromatic or with a limited color palette that makes a statement. For the 'Bryson' look, the stark white fabric wasn't just a choice; it was a deliberate nod to the 'Light' aspect of the cover art, providing a clean canvas for his powerful presence. You can achieve a similar impact by focusing on one dominant color for your outfit, then adding subtle textures or unique cuts. Don't be afraid to experiment with layering or unconventional fabric choices that catch the eye, much like a well-executed NLE Choppa drawing captures attention with its sharp lines and expressive forms. The process of translating a concept from a digital creator's vision or a piece of artwork into a physical garment is truly fascinating. It's like bringing a cartoon character to life with fabric and thread! I often look at album art, like the 'Bryson' cover, and break it down into shapes, colors, and the overall mood. That 'From Dark to Light' transition wasn't just a background element; it became the inspiration for the garment's flow and simplicity. If you're into designing or even just styling yourself, try this: pick a piece of art or even a song that inspires you, then brainstorm how you can embody its feeling in an outfit. How would you represent 'Dark to Light' in your everyday wear? Perhaps a dark base with bright, contrasting accessories, or a garment that subtly shifts in tone. One thing I always emphasize is confidence. NLE Choppa's presence always commands attention, and his outfits complement that. When you wear something that makes you feel good, it shows in your demeanor, even in your side profile! So, whether you're creating custom pieces or just curating your wardrobe, choose items that resonate with your personality. And remember, the journey from a raw idea to a finished product, whether it's a quick design for a music video or a personal project, is all part of the creative magic. Keep creating, keep experimenting, and let your unique vision shine!
