That is when believers must wake up.
This is not the hour for lazy faith.
This is not the hour for half-hearted living.
This is not the hour to blend in with a careless world.
The return of Jesus is too close for casual Christianity.
For Romans 13:11 says now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
“The coming of the Lord is too near for casual Christianity.”
Do not live loosely in an hour that demands urgency.

From my own spiritual journey, I have realized that too often, we fall into a routine faith that lacks the vitality and urgency the Bible calls for. The message that the coming of the Lord is near challenges me deeply—it pushes me to evaluate how I live daily and encourages me to wake up from any spiritual slumber. I remember a time when I was comfortable in my faith, thinking the return of Jesus was a far-off event. This led to moments of laziness and half-hearted commitment. However, understanding scriptures like Romans 13:11, which urges us to awaken because salvation is nearer than when we first believed, has been transformative. Living ready means embracing holiness and turning away from worldly distractions that cause spiritual complacency. It means being alert, active in faith, and intentional in actions. I’ve found that this mindset not only brings peace but renews purpose, motivating a fervent and hopeful anticipation of Jesus’ return. For everyone sensing this urgency, it’s about more than just waiting—it’s about living fully awake and prepared. Engaging with a community that values holiness and readiness helps sustain this focus. In practical terms, it means prioritizing prayer, studying scripture deeply, and serving others with genuine love. The phrase 'The coming of the Lord is too near for casual Christianity' is a powerful reminder that faith isn’t a passive state but a dynamic walk. It’s a call to deeply examine our lives and live in a way that reflects the imminence of Christ’s return. I encourage everyone to reflect on this message and live ready, embracing the holy urgency this time demands.

Amen
