I honestly thought I had already finished restoring every last old Hokkien hymnal in the church... but I was so pleasantly surprised when we stumbled upon another 20 copies hidden away!
What made me even happier is looking closely at them: even though pages are completely torn or detached at the spine, the 1982 paper and printed music notation are still in remarkably good condition!
Instead of leaving these 44-year-old treasures forgotten, I'm rolling up my sleeves one more time to get them back into the congregation so our fellow seniors can continue to use a book they are familiar with. That should make them happy😊
