Hotpot Everyday?! easy meal ideas

I love cooking when i can just put anything i want inside a pot and call it a day 😄 This is a version of hotpot that i like ~ ♥️

🍅 tomato soup base

🧀 cheese tofu

🥟 dumplings / meat of ur choice

🍄‍🟫 mushrooms enoki shimeji bring it ALL 😋

🥬 spinach

🍜 noods or eat with rice

just mix the soup base with water, add all mushroom and cheese tofu or meat. My personal guide is to put anything rubbery or hard in first HAHAHA. then wait for all to boil then add all the soft and easy to cook ingredients like spinach, dumplings and noodles! Once all are cooked, plate and enjoyy 😄🍚

... Read moreI’ve found that making hotpot with a tomato soup base really elevates the flavors and adds a nice tangy twist that pairs wonderfully with cheese tofu. One trick I always use is to add firmer ingredients like mushrooms or meat first, giving them enough time to cook well, then add softer items like spinach and dumplings last to keep their texture fresh. This style of hotpot reminds me of 'tomato oden' dishes, which are very popular in some convenience stores like Family Mart. You can sometimes find pre-packaged options, but making it fresh at home lets you customize everything, which I love! Additionally, you can easily enjoy it as a hearty meal with noodles or simply with rice. For those short on prep time, you can even prepare the ingredients ahead and store them, turning this into a convenient, quick meal—almost like an instant microwave food option. It’s a great way to enjoy a flavorful, nutritious meal without much hassle or expense, making it ideal for students or anyone mindful of their budget.
