If you're exploring food options at NUS, the variety can feel overwhelming but also exciting. The noodle stalls are a great go-to, especially the pork ribs noodles at Deck where the chili oil adds a fantastic kick that spice lovers will appreciate. I found the crowd there quite manageable even during peak hours. Japanese cuisine fans shouldn't miss the new frontiers stall near campus. Though itās priced slightly higher, the curry rice is surprisingly delicious and satisfying. Itās a great treat for days when you want something a bit different yet comforting. Another hidden gem is Supersnack at UTown. I was pleasantly surprised to discover their lunch deals offering a combo of main dishes with dessert or a drink, making it a great option for lunchtime without the typical queues common at other spots. When craving classic noodle dishes, the place at Yih truly stands out, especially their beef noodles which I found full of flavor with just the right spice level to warm you up. For those interested in more food discoveries, paying attention to the daily specials and lunch deals at these places can save you money and provide more variety. Also, donāt hesitate to try vegetarian options available as some spots around NUS offer surprisingly good meat-free meals. Enjoying campus food is not just about the taste but the convenience and affordability. Experimenting with these spots can uncover some hidden favorites you'll want to revisit regularly.
