The 4th slide is my favorite 😂😭

I’ve always wanted unmedicated birth with this pregnancy but mannnnn when I tell you there was a point in this labor where I BEGGED everyone to give me pain meds and the epidural... I BEGGED i was at 7.5-8cm but it was too late to get any pain meds and there was only 1 person that does the epidural in the labor and delivery area and it would've took about 2 hours to get it. I pushed shortly after because when i realized that I had no other option. My last option was to fully surrender and get the baby out safely! That shit was the most empowering thing ever! I'm so fucking proud of myself

... Read moreThe journey of pregnancy and childbirth is deeply personal and filled with emotions. Unmedicated birth is a choice many expectant mothers make for various reasons, including the desire for a natural experience and the belief in the body’s ability to give birth without medical interventions. Throughout this process, women may encounter intense moments during labor, leading to feelings of doubt and the temptation to seek pain relief. It's not uncommon to feel overwhelmed, especially as the contractions intensify and the desire for an epidural becomes strong. However, surrendering to the process can lead to profound empowerment. For many, the moment of delivering a baby without medication can be life-changing, resulting in a sense of achievement and pride. This experience fosters a unique bond between mother and baby, as well as a connection to oneself. The story of Baby Kobe serves as an inspiring testament to the strength inherent in every mother. When preparing for an unmedicated birth, it's essential to build a strong support system, including knowledgeable midwives or doula partners, who can provide guidance and encouragement throughout labor. Breathing techniques, meditation, and visualization can also be beneficial in managing pain and anxiety, helping to create a more peaceful environment. Each unmedicated birth story is unique, filled with challenges and triumphs, reflecting the diverse experiences mothers have while welcoming new life into the world.
