If you search for matcha, June coffee is probably one of the recommendations on the list
We went on a sat around 5pm and waited 10 mins for a seat. Honestly I just wanted to try the matcha and not order any food but we were too lazy to go elsewhere to eat and I would just like to say that the food is incredible?! I had very low expectations since the food at hyped cafes usually low key suck but I rly loved the miso carbonara n tater tots. They are common cafe items but done rly well so 10/10 for me!! 😋 the tater tots r crispy but soft on the inside and the sauce is great. I loveeeed the carbonara, the pasta shape rly held the sauce well and it’s garlicky which I rly liked plus the miso added some dimension to the taste although it got abit salty towards the end
the blueberry matcha was a disappointment tho ): The matcha itself was fine but the blueberry had this weird artificial bitter taste that really threw me off. It low key reminded me of cough syrup. I should have gotten the strawberry matcha 😭😭😭
Their pistachio latte on the other hand was delicious, it’s nutty and creamy but not too thick
Rly pleasantly surprised by the food so I think it’s worth going but skip the blueberry matcha and maybe go for the more popular kinako (it was oos when we went so go earlier!) or strawberry matcha

The miso carbonara stood out for me with its garlicky and savory flavor profile, which is rare in typical cafe pasta dishes. The truffle tater tots are also a must-try – they’re crispy on the outside but remain tender inside, paired perfectly with the truffle mayo sauce.
When it comes to drinks, while the blueberry matcha didn’t quite hit the mark due to its artificial, almost cough syrup-like aftertaste, the pistachio latte pleasantly surprised me with its balanced nutty creaminess that wasn’t overpowering. The popular strawberry or kinako matcha flavors might be safer picks, and I’d suggest arriving earlier if you want to avoid items being sold out, especially the kinako.
June Coffee's atmosphere is cozy enough to enjoy a casual hangout, and although there was a short wait, it felt worth it given the quality of food and drinks. If you’re a matcha lover, it’s worth trying their variety but be mindful of the unique flavor combinations that may or may not suit your palate.
Overall, June Coffee combines a trendy cafe vibe with surprisingly good food offerings that differentiated it from many other hype cafes with less impressive menus. Whether you go for a quick drink or a light meal, it offers a memorable experience—just avoid the blueberry matcha unless you want to try something quite different.
