15 min break

Decided to stand outside of my apartment patio enjoying the rose bush.

My Thoughts:

Focus on health; lately it’s been stress and want to work on a way to better my mental health. And eat little better but still can eat whatever I want.

Focus to better parent; lately my toddler has big emotions and I have been handling it by yelling back and popping few times. I want to work on being less aggressive.

That’s all I have for now

A mere 15 minutes spent outdoors, like sitting on your patio and enjoying nature, can provide a valuable reset for your mind. This time allows for self-reflection and encourages mindfulness, which is essential in managing stress levels. Research shows that engaging with nature can help reduce feelings of anxiety and depression, and even a quick walk among trees can uplift your mood. It's also important for parents to manage stress to positively influence family dynamics. By taking a moment for yourself, you can return to interaction with your children feeling calmer and more centered. Incorporating healthy habits during these brief breaks, such as mindful breathing or light stretching, can aid in creating a healthier mindset. As you enjoy your coffee or tea outside, think about what aspects of your day you can improve and establish small, achievable goals. Remember, short intervals of self-care matter, especially while navigating the challenges of parenthood.
