And let me tell you, the name is no joke! It truly is an agonizing experience, but in the best, most frustrating way possible. From the moment I hit PRESS START, I knew I was in for it. I started in NORMAL MODE, thinking 'how bad can it be?' Oh, naive me! My first few attempts were straight up 0%. Like, didn't even make it past the first few obstacles. It's a constant cycle of TRIAL AND ERROR, trying to memorize patterns, anticipating jumps, and getting that perfect TAP! timing down. Seriously, my thumbs are getting a workout! I’m currently on day 1 of trying to beat a geometry dash level that feels utterly impossible, but I'm surprisingly hooked. One moment I’m stuck at 0%, feeling like I’ll never get anywhere, and then suddenly, after countless attempts, I’ll hit a new personal best, like that glorious 56% I achieved once! It felt like unlocking a new achievement, almost as good as when you actually Unlocked new Secondary Color! for your cube. Little victories like that keep you going when you’re facing such an intense level. My main strategy right now involves heavy use of PRACTICE MODE. It's absolutely essential for learning the tricky sections without constantly restarting from the beginning. I break the level down, focusing on individual parts, and repeat them until they feel natural. It’s amazing how muscle memory kicks in, even for something so complex. I also find it helpful to watch videos of other players conquering Agonizing, just to get a sense of the timing and the potential routes. Sometimes, seeing someone else make it look easy (even though you know it's not) gives you that extra push. The mental game is huge with levels like Agonizing. There are moments when you just want to throw your phone across the room, but then that little voice inside says, 'just one more try!' And sometimes, that one more try is all it takes to push you a little further. Taking short breaks actually helps a lot too, letting your eyes and brain reset before diving back into the intense visual and auditory cues of the game. If you're thinking about tackling a really hard Geometry Dash level, my advice is to embrace the TRIAL AND ERROR. Don't get discouraged by the 0% runs; they’re just stepping stones to those glorious 56% moments, and eventually, to 100%. It's a journey, and every tap counts. Wish me luck for day 2 – I have a feeling it's going to be just as agonizing, but hopefully, with even more progress!
