My personal highlight was definitely spotting that stunning sergal fursuit. It was a striking grey, white, and neon green combination, and just looked so well-crafted. The details were immaculate, from the expressive eyes to the intricate markings on the fur. It truly looked like a piece of art walking around! I also noticed the suiter had a PRIDE pin prominently displayed, which just added to the wonderful, inclusive vibe you feel at these events. It's moments like these that truly make attending a furryfest so special – the creativity, the community support, and the sheer joy radiating from everyone. You really feel a sense of belonging, no matter your background or identity. Beyond the sergal fursuit, I was mesmerized by the sheer variety of characters and designs. While I didn't get to see an Absol fursuit this time around (which is a personal favorite from the Pokémon universe!), I've seen some incredible ones online, and they're always a fan favorite, known for their elegant and fierce designs. It's all about celebrating creativity and connection within the community. A tip for newcomers: make sure to bring your camera (and maybe some comfortable shoes, because you'll be doing a lot of walking!), as you'll want to capture all the amazing moments and characters. Also, don't be shy to approach fursuiters for a photo; most are super friendly and love interacting, but always remember to ask first and respect their space. Seeing everyone with their multiple badges, some collecting them as souvenirs, others proudly showing off their affiliations, just adds to the vibrant tapestry of the event.
