Ladies, please teach your daughters that following a man through hell is not love. Sticking by his side while he drags you through years of embarrassment, abuse, control, belittlement, and infidelity that makes you question your worth, is not love!! When people say stick through thick and thin through marriage, we're not talking about misery.
Abandoning your dignity and self respect to keep the peace, is not love. Being manipulated and treated as property, is NOT love! Unlearn that!
You all say your ex was narcissistic but still get back with him. Your daughter is seeing that.
No man that truly loves you would ever put himself in a position to lose you or to hurt you!
And when you are choosing a partner who'll one day meet your kids and be part of their life, make sure they are a SAFE MAN. A SAFE Dad.
A child needs a SAFE dad. A PROVIDING dad. A CONSISTENT dad. A dad that understands his family is more important than IMMATURE SELFISHNESS.
It is important for a mother to save her child from any harm or toxic people. You control the men you bring in your life. Choose wisely 🫶🏽

... Read moreIn modern parenting, it's crucial to equip children with the knowledge to identify healthy relationships. Women often face societal pressures to maintain relationships that may not serve their well-being or dignity. It’s vital to distinguish between love and the harmful behaviors that can masquerade as affection. Encourage daughters to recognize that a true partnership involves respect and mutual support, not subjugation or compromise of one's principles.
A safe father figure plays an invaluable role in shaping a child’s understanding of healthy masculinity. Invest time in discussing the characteristics of a nurturing and responsible dad: consistency, emotional availability, and prioritizing family over personal whims. By promoting these traits, we instill confidence in children to seek partners who mirror this behavior.
Moreover, watching out for toxic relationships is vital for emotional well-being. Discuss with your daughters how they should never tolerate abusive behavior just to keep peace. Reinforce the idea that it’s acceptable to walk away from relationships that compromise their self-respect or happiness. Teaching young women to value their worth and to set boundaries will empower them to build healthy future relationships.
