POV: 1ST HALF OF 2025 BIBLE SCHEDULE
ALL 2025 GET IN YOUR BIBLE AND YOUR BAG THE BAG MEANS NOTHING WITHOUT THE PAGES OF THE BIBLE WRITTEN ON THE TABLES OF YOUR HEART 🩷 DONT GAIN THE WHOLE WORLD AND LOSE YOUR SOUL ALL YOUR HARD WORK WILL BE IN VAIN 💞
🌸MATTHEW 16:26🌸
Hey besties! I wanted to share more about why having a structured daily Bible reading schedule, especially for 2025, has been such a game-changer for me. We often focus on our worldly goals, our careers, or our 'bag,' as I like to call it. But honestly, what good is all that if our souls aren't nourished? Just like the verse in Matthew 16:26 reminds us, 'What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?' This isn't just about reading; it's about a 'heart dive' into God's Word, letting His truth sink deep into our spirits. My 2025 schedule, which I've been so excited to put together, covers the first six months of the year, from January right through June. Each month is designed to take us through different books of the Bible, ensuring a well-rounded and enriching experience. For instance, in January, we'll be starting with Matthew, diving into Psalms for comfort, and gaining wisdom from Proverbs. As we move into February, we'll continue with Psalms, Matthew, and delve into Romans, exploring profound theological truths. March brings us more Proverbs, Psalms, Romans, and an introduction to 1 Corinthians. It's a beautiful journey through Scripture! April will guide us through 2 Corinthians, more Psalms, Matthew (revisiting foundational teachings!), 1 John, and John. Then, in May, we'll find wisdom in Proverbs again, spend more time in John, be uplifted by Psalms, and explore the powerful revelations in Revelation. Finally, June rounds out the first half of the year with Revelation, Psalms, Proverbs, and Luke. It's a comprehensive approach to help us grow. For me, consistency is key. I try to set aside a specific time each day, even if it's just 15-20 minutes. I love to make little notes in my journal, jotting down verses that stand out or questions that come to mind. It’s not about rushing through; it’s about savoring each word and applying it to my life. If I miss a day, I don't beat myself up. I just pick up where I left off the next day. The goal isn't perfection, but presence. To make this 'heart dive' even more meaningful, I've found it incredibly helpful to have a community. That's why I'm always encouraging friends to join our 'Remnant Bible Study Besties' group chat. Sharing insights, asking questions, and praying for one another makes the journey so much richer. It's like having accountability partners for our spiritual growth. Imagine discussing the wisdom from Proverbs as you read it, or sharing how a passage from Psalms brought comfort during a tough day. This isn't just about ticking off boxes on a reading plan. It's about transforming our hearts, renewing our minds, and ensuring our spiritual foundation is strong as we navigate 2025. Let's make this year one where we truly prioritize our souls and connect deeply with God's Word. Happy reading, everyone!
