For this look, I reached for one of my favorites— @The Crayon Case “MATTE Book” by Supa Cent 🎨. While I slayed these brows and shadows, I also talked about some of the most special people in my life. 🌸 My childhood best friends @Ciara and @Bianca James192 have been with me since the sandbox, and Destinie, who I’ve known since I was six, is family for life. Honorable mention goes to my sister-friend Whitney, who transitioned in January 2020. She battled sickle cell with so much grace, and though losing her was heartbreaking, her spirit remains close to my heart always. 🤍
I also shared a bit about where I come from—I was born right here in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 🏙, but in 1996 my mom moved us back to her hometown of Hartsville, South Carolina. That’s where I was raised, making me a true Southern Belle at heart 💕—with a Philly edge and hustle that keeps me grounded.
