Minor Details 💚🦅 | There’s Nothing Minor About It
Okay, let’s get into it because this boutique right here?! ICONIC. I went to Minor Details, the cutest Philly-based boutique that carries all your Philly sports girl dreams — and let me just say, there’s nothing minor about it. I went to the Manayunk location (4401 Main Street) but they also have another one in Fishtown (2023 Frankford Ave) if that’s closer to you!
From the moment I walked in, the vibes were so Philly. I tried on three crop tops and three crewnecks — and ended up snagging one of those cozy crewnecks (so soft on the inside, buttery on the outside 👏🏾) and this adorable little Eagles lanyard that I’m putting right on my flight attendant uniform ✈️💚 because yes, I represent the Birds at 30,000 feet.
Let’s talk material — chef’s kiss. It’s stretchy, comfortable, and plus-size friendly. Now do they go up to a 6X like they should? Not yet 😅, but as a 220-pound girl on her Mounjaro journey, I can tell you that everything fit comfortably and hugged me in all the right ways.
And the best part? It’s female-owned — run by a woman who truly put her heart into this shop. The merch ranges from Eagles 🦅 to Phillies ❤️⚾️, and when baseball season comes back around, I’m running (not walking) back to stock up.
I originally went looking for new Birds gear for Birds & Bars this weekend — because the Eagles are about to smoke the Minnesota Vikings 🔥 — but ended up finding one of my new favorite Philly gems. Whether you go to Manayunk or Fishtown, do not walk… SPRINT. Because this boutique is a Philly girl’s dream come true.

Stepping into Minor Details' Manayunk location at 4401 Main Street really feels like you're unlocking a secret treasure chest for Philly sports fans! I know I was completely surprised by the range and quality when I first walked in. If you're like me and constantly on the hunt for unique 'Birds' gear that goes beyond the basic fan shop, then this is your spot. Beyond the super soft crewnecks and stylish crop tops that the article highlights, they often carry a fantastic selection of unique accessories. Think subtle Eagles-themed jewelry, chic bags with team colors, or even limited-edition prints that you won't find at every big box store. It’s perfect for those of us who want to show our Philly pride in a more fashion-forward way. I’ve personally snagged a few items that mix perfectly with my everyday wardrobe, making me feel like a true fan without sacrificing style. One thing I really appreciate, especially as someone who navigates sizing, is their commitment to being plus-size friendly. While the article mentioned they don't quite hit 6X yet, I found their sizing to be very accommodating and true-to-fit for many items, often going up to 2XL or 3XL in their popular styles. The material quality really shines here – everything feels durable, stretches comfortably, and washes well, which is a huge plus for active wear. If you’re unsure, the staff are always super helpful and encouraging when it comes to trying things on. It's a supportive environment, which isn't always the case in boutiques, and that makes a big difference. Let's talk about the Manayunk vibe itself. Main Street is bustling with cute cafes and other shops, making Minor Details a fantastic stop during a day out. Parking can sometimes be a bit tricky right on Main Street, so consider looking for municipal lots nearby or even street parking a block or two away – a small tip that can save you some hassle! The store itself is well-organized and bright, making browsing a pleasure. What truly sets Minor Details apart is that it's a female-owned business, and you can feel that passion in every detail. The curated selection isn't just generic sports merch; it feels thoughtfully chosen with a fan's heart. Prices are what you'd expect for a quality boutique – a bit higher than a discount store, but absolutely worth it for the unique designs, excellent materials, and supporting a local business. Keep an eye on their social media for new arrivals, especially as the Eagles season heats up or when Phillies baseball starts again. Trust me, you'll want to be first in line for their fresh drops!
