I suffer in silence quite often 🥺
& it’s not because I’m afraid of telling my business or that I don’t have support from my friends and family; it’s that I don’t personally know what to do when I do have very vivid and aggressive panic attacks 🥺
There have been times I am driving on the highway and have to call @ItsOnQ or my sister @Shondabonda because if I don’t talk to someone I don’t physically think I will make it to my destination 🥺
But in moments like this where is 2am in the morning and everyone is sleeping and I don’t have an answer to my best friend Jazzmin when and if I wake her up to why it is that I’m having a panic attack; it’s EXCRUCIATING and beyond CRIPPLING 🥺
At first I wasn’t going to post this, and then I was like “no I will because this is what I was really going through this morning.” And why it is that I’m so exhausted right now and can’t even focus to finish editing amazing content that I need to get out 🥺
I’m not sure what I’m looking for from you all. Advice? Maybe even sympathy and empathy? Or I probably just needed to tell someone who doesn’t know the situation. Idk.
I love y’all though ♥️

Experiencing panic attacks can be deeply isolating, especially when they strike unexpectedly during vulnerable moments like late at night. One approach I found helpful during my own intense episodes is creating a 'comfort toolkit'—this includes calming sounds like rain from apps such as Calm, grounding techniques like deep breathing or focusing on physical sensations, and having a trusted person available to talk to. It’s important to recognize triggers, often rooted in overthinking or negative energy from relationships, which the post mentions. In addition to these strategies, reaching out to mental health professionals can provide tailored coping mechanisms and therapeutic support. For example, cognitive-behavioral therapy helps in identifying thought patterns that fuel panic attacks and teaches ways to manage them. Personally, I’ve learned that scheduling regular check-ins with myself to monitor emotional energy is key. When I realize certain people or situations drain me, I set boundaries or seek ways to recharge. Although love and kindness are powerful, as the original post highlights, it’s vital to protect your inner peace. Lastly, honesty and vulnerability—like sharing your struggles publicly or with friends—can build community and reduce the stigma around panic attacks. The journey to managing panic attacks is unique, but knowing you’re not alone and exploring supportive tools can make a crucial difference.
