How long did you breastfeed your babies?

With my first I breastfed him for 2yrs 2 months! & now I’m currently going 9 months strong with our April boy, planning to breastfeed until 2yrs old again! 🤗 I never use a pump either! I love breastfeeding, I think the ONLY downside to breastfeeding for me is how much weight I lose. Last summer I was very underweight & so unhealthy because of it, so I’m hoping to keep some weight on this time! How is your breastfeeding journey? What’s the best part for you? What’s the downside for you? #breastfeeding #breastfeedingmomma #momlife #embracevulnerability #motherhood

... Read moreBreastfeeding is a personal journey, unique to each mother and child. Many mothers choose to breastfeed for various reasons, including bonding, nutritional benefits, and cost savings. On average, mothers tend to breastfeed for about six months to one year, yet some individuals, like Jasmine, continue for longer, aiming for two years or more. It's important to understand the impacts of breastfeeding on both mental and physical health for mothers, such as the balance of maintaining a healthy weight. Challenges like weight changes or feeling under pressure can arise. Supporting each other in communities can help, as sharing these experiences fosters connection and understanding among mothers. Resources and professional guidance can also play a crucial role in ensuring a positive breastfeeding experience for both mother and baby. Have you ever felt that breastfeeding is affecting your weight? Find support and encouragement in motherhood circles and online forums. Embrace the vulnerability that comes with this beautiful journey and uplift each other!
