Summer break versi ibu-ibu:

Jam 7 pagi belum sempat ngopi ☕️

Belum sempat beresin dapur 🍳

Belum sempat mikir menu makan siang 🍽️

Every morning feels like a race against time — before I've even had my coffee, my kids gather around asking, "Hari ini kita mau ngapain?" (What are we doing today?). It’s a constant balancing act of roles; being an event organizer, chauffeur, chef, and tour guide all in one day. From preparing meals to planning activities, the pressure can be overwhelming. Yet, these hectic days contain precious moments that, when looking back, you’ll cherish deeply. The repeated morning questions from my kids, though demanding, remind me that our home is lively and full of love. It also pushes me to be creative in keeping them engaged, whether through simple backyard games or visits to local parks. One helpful tip I've learned is to prepare a flexible schedule. While spontaneity keeps the day fun, having a loose plan helps ease the stress of constant decision-making. This includes meal prepping where possible and having quick snack ideas ready. I’ve also reached out to friends and other moms to arrange playdates — giving both the kids social time and me a breather. Summer break as a stay-at-home mom requires embracing imperfection. Not every day will be smooth, and that’s okay. Celebrating small victories, like a moment of quiet or a simple thank you from the kids, makes the effort worthwhile. So to all moms feeling overwhelmed by the daily never-ending question, "What are we going to do today?" know that these moments are temporary. One day, the house will be quiet, and these daily interactions will be the memories you treasure the most.
