Spend time with yourself

It’s funny how it literally took me flying to another country to fully realize and be okay with being by myself. I took a trip a couple months ago with my family to the DR and it was a very much needed break. One thing about me, I don’t know if anyone can relate, I can never sleep in on vacation. I’m always up before 7-8 which is so funny cause I struggle to wake up in the morning at home. Since I was up so early I got to go down to the beach to see the sunrise and just take a moment to just sit and think. It was in these moments where I truly felt a sense of relief and wasn’t worried about the 10 assignments I had to do when I got back home. I truly felt some peace during this trip and have become more comfortable being by myself. I recommend just taking some time to sit somewhere by yourself and just think. Think about where you are in that moment. Emotionally, mentally, physically where are you in this moment of stillness in your day to day life?
