Hot Takes
Well…
I feel like most of these takes are lukewarm at best regardless of how others feel about them, haha.
I wasn’t raised on all of these things, but they are all things that I believe due to my life experience and the people/places that have fundamentally shaped me as a human being.
Through and through, I am a patriot, which to me means that I place value on every aspect of the country I was raised in: her land and her people. Without these two things, there would be no country to be patriotic to.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and at the end of the day, I live by the golden rule:
Treat others how you want to be treated.
If everyone follow led this rule to the best of their ability, the world would be a much better place.

In today’s diverse society, opinions can be polarizing, and navigating these can lead to meaningful discussions. One core belief reflects a deep respect for the land and its history. Recognizing that true patriotism goes beyond surface-level understandings, it involves appreciating the complex narratives that shape a community. Consider the importance of sustainability in our modern world; small actions, such as recycling or reducing waste, can lead to significant environmental benefits. Additionally, fostering open dialogues centered on acceptance can diminish the division often created by political labels. Many individuals may find themselves grappling with the implications of identity and ideology, particularly within the context of regional biases. The lessons learned from living in a Southern Appalachian community emphasize the need for empathy and understanding across differing backgrounds. Furthermore, the conversation is enriched when we invite all voices into the discussion, ensuring that perspectives are heard, even when they conflict. Engaging with those who have different beliefs can expand our understanding and challenge us to re-evaluate our own viewpoints. By embracing vulnerabilities and striving for collective respect, we can create a more harmonious environment that values diverse opinions without judgment.

i’ve never seen someone with the exact opinions as me on this app. so glad to see someone with common sense, heavy on the “liberty and justice for ALL.”
