Healthy Hair Recommendations ๐Ÿ’‡๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’†๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ

I could only post 1 minute of this 3 minute video so if youโ€™re interested in the whole thing, itโ€™s on my TikTok! These 2 are currently my favorite leave ins for when Iโ€™m heat styling. Amika hydrorush and Mizani 25 miracle milk. I typically highly recommend mizani to most curly girls. Have you tried either?

Read moreOkay, so you've seen my faves for heat styling in my video โ€“ Amika Hydrorush and Mizani 25 Miracle Milk are game-changers for detangling and adding that much-needed moisture before the heat hits. But let's be real, a good hair regimen, especially for us heat-styling enthusiasts, goes way beyond just a leave-in! When I saw a comment saying 'WHATS THE REGIMEN GIRL', it really got me thinking about the bigger picture. For me, building a solid regimen is about protecting my hair from all angles. First up, heat protection! I can't stress this enough. While my leave-ins offer some protection, nothing beats a dedicated heat protectant. I've heard amazing things about Pureology heat protectant, and it's definitely on my list to try next. Products like these create a barrier, minimizing damage from straighteners, curling irons, and blow dryers. Itโ€™s like putting sunscreen on your hair! I usually apply it section by section to ensure every strand is covered. Beyond daily protection, if youโ€™re frequently using heat or have color-treated hair, bond repair treatments are a lifesaver. This is where products like boldplex bond restore treatment 3 come into play. These treatments work to repair the broken disulfide bonds within your hair, which can get damaged from chemical processes, heat, and even environmental stressors. I've used similar products in the past, and they truly make a difference in strengthening hair, reducing breakage, and improving overall elasticity. It's not just a surface-level fix; it's deep hair health! Mixing one of these into my routine once a week or every other week has transformed my hair from brittle to bouncy. So, how does this all fit together? My routine usually starts with a gentle shampoo and conditioner. Then, on damp hair, I'll go in with a bond-restoring treatment if it's a treatment day. After rinsing (if required), I layer a heat protectant, like the Pureology one I mentioned, followed by one of my favorite leave-ins โ€“ the Amika Hydrorush for general hydration or the Mizani 25 Miracle Milk, especially when my curls need extra love. Mizani, seriously, for my curly hair friends out there, it's a dream! This layering approach ensures my hair is prepped, protected, and nourished before I even think about turning on a heat tool. Itโ€™s all about finding what works for your hair type and routine. Don't be afraid to experiment, but always prioritize protection and repair. My goal is always healthy, shiny hair, no matter how much I style it. What are your must-have products for a healthy hair regimen? I'd love to hear your recommendations!

I was going to buy Aussie shampoo and conditioner but the Yuka app gave it a 0/100 so I left it there but I have heard itโ€™s pretty good!
