This is a very old peice of work by me. All colored pencils, my first ever project senior year of highschool & still one of my most proud pieces. It’s deep, it’s rebirth, it’s light. The organs in the butterfly are specially what I had during my #transplant and that is why it means so much to me. So personal, but beautiful, I wanted to reintroduce her to the world and finally get some photos with it. Forever and proud to be a recipient 💚
Photo creds: @graycinxo thank you beautiful for helping me bring this vision together!
... Read moreApril is not just another month; it’s Donate Life Month, a time to celebrate the gift of life through organ donation. Many individuals remain on transplant waiting lists, and each story matters. By sharing our experiences, we shed light on the importance of organ donation and inspire others to consider becoming donors. Did you know that organ donation can save multiple lives? For those of us who have received transplants, every day is a reminder of the generosity of our donors. As we honor those who have given and received, let’s engage in conversations about organ donation, understanding its impact, and supporting those in need. Together, we can create awareness and foster a community that values life!
If you want to learn more about organ donation or how to become a donor, many resources are available, including organ donor registries. Stay informed and share your stories during this special month to inspire others. Let's make a difference!
