I never thought this would ever resonate with me,
“Until death do you part” means nothing to someone who can’t see past their own fears, insecurities, guilt and low self worth.
No one is perfect but you find peace in how people show up for yourself and others, you appreciate those who went to bat for you even when you didn’t feel worthy. 🫶🏾
Some people are too stubborn to accept the love I have to offer and that’s okay. I won’t let it change who I am and how I show up, but I also won’t let their misery consume me. 🤷🏾♀️
I spent my whole life trying to prove my worth to people who didn’t deserve me. From now on I will spend more time pouring into myself as I have done for people who couldn’t pour into me. I wouldn’t have never given up so easily but what am I to do if someone doesn’t think I’m worth fighting for. 😔
I’ll show my 3 girls to always move with compassion, respect and understanding. Continue to teach them how important it is to treat people the way you want to be treated. Life it too short to mistreat the people who love you and who you say you love. Teach them to understand that sometimes it’s simply not you, it IS in fact them and that’s okay. 👌🏾
