The Flawed Ones Book Trailer #2

The Flawed Ones is an intense, intriguing and captivating memoir, an almost surreal representation of what is truly like fighting the most challenging battles within the mind.

The Flawed Ones is an itimate portrayal of addiction and mental illness, bringing the reader into perhaps a world they have never seen before. If they have, it becomes a relatable portrayal of those things not many people can sympathize with, as they are unable to relate. The Flawed Ones—through separate but intertwined stories of several people in a psychward—puts a mirror in front of the reader and asks them to look deeply into their own eyes: into their soul. Then, only, then, will they be able to ask the question: who is truly flawed?

Eight years ago, a man went through a door surrounded by fire, hell waiting on the other side, flames eager to feed on his flesh. The experiences that man had on the other side of that door led to the publication of this book. This book was written in the midst of tears that could not fall fast enough to mitigate the blaze. But through that hell he went and, after being baptized in the embers, he came out the other side a little stronger, a little wiser, a better man. It is to him who I dedicated this trailer to, because I know he would have absolutely loved it, and would have play it a thousand times in the car on the way to work, tears in his eyes filled with indescribable emotions that pushed him to write this incredible story. To that version of me that no longer exists, but resides within me, as I would not be here without his courage to walk through the flames. Thank you.
