Sophomore year 🌸
Sophomore year is right around the college! I honestly miss classes (mainly the stability lol) and I can’t wait to start back and make more friends and progress in my career ! Here are a few goals I plan to stay consistent on!!
🌸Consistency - a big one! I really love the gym and how it makes me feel, I’ve been working on my upper body because it makes me feel strong so I want to build a consistent routine that has me in the gym at least four days. My college also offers free classes and I definitely want to take advantage of those. I went to a few last year, but I definitely want to do more this year.
🌸 Get up & get outside - I have two puppies (1yr and 3-4 months(?) and they really love getting outside. I definitely want to include more walks in our morning routine and just being outside getting them used to the world around them!
🌸 Deans list - I made the Dean’s list my first semester and it made me feel really good. Spring semester however I had to drop a class because it just wasn’t my forte. I ended the class with the C and therefore was unable to make the deans list that semester:( this semester and this year overall I want to strive for the deans list, and I know if I work really hard I can make it to the presidents list! (All A’s) academics have always been important to me and having a letter of recognition means the world to me.
🌸 A few other things I want to focus on this year include: reading more, being involved on campus, being involved with friends, and putting myself out there! I am excited for this next semester and to see where life takes me!
What are some things you are excited for this semester? College or High school welcome!

As you embark on your sophomore year, it's a great time to set clear and achievable goals that align with your personal and academic aspirations. Consistency in fitness can profoundly affect your mental health, so consider incorporating regular exercise into your routine. Many colleges provide free resources like fitness classes and workshops; taking advantage of these can help you stay motivated. Additionally, engaging with the local community—whether through outdoor activities or volunteering—can enrich your college experience and help you develop lasting friendships. Academically, aiming for honors like the Dean's or President's list not only recognizes your efforts but also paves the way for future opportunities. Remember to balance your studies with leisure; setting aside time for reading or exploring campus events can enhance your overall well-being. Embrace the challenges and joys of this year, and don’t hesitate to reach out to others who share your interests for support and encouragement.
