Hey yall im frustrated and I have a few bones to pick with Lemon8.
🦴 i’ve been reached out to be a creator, just for me to sign up and hear nothing back. ITS BEEN MONTHS! wtf?
🦴 my challenge posts usually do well, but lately i have the hardest time getting views or interactions, and god forbid i post at night, it’s like i never posted at all! have i been SHADOWBANNED?
🦴 i feel like challenge posts that depend on people to like or interact don’t get a lot of traction for ppl to interact with which is so backwards.
for example i have a outfit post from LAST YEAR that still gets more traction than my similar posts. your win is up to other ppl AND they make it harder.
i hate watching the time and effort i put into these posts go to waste/flop and it’s really killing the drive to want to continue posting here bc why play a rigged game?? i can’t help but notice the pattern and im not feeling it.

I totally feel where you are coming from. I have recently wondered if this platform shadows posts like this that critique it too. I feel like the challenge posts should get more traction but really everything should. I also feel like they don’t uplift content creators of color.
