Hey everyone! So many of you have been asking for a Nudacris update, and let me tell you, things are never dull around here! You might remember my last post about his interesting reaction to getting new sweaters. Well, it seems his opinion hasn't changed much! He's still sporting that classic 'crabbed up' look whenever he sees them. It's truly hilarious, but also a little heartbreaking because I just want him to be warm and cozy! I thought maybe he just needed to get used to them, so I tried a few different styles and fabrics. You know, thinking maybe it was the fit or the *material*. I got him some softer ones, some with more stretch, even a little hoodie. But no matter what, he gives me this look that just screams, 'Mom, really? Again with the clothes?' It's like a perpetual Nudacris pouting session! For those new to Nudacris, he's a Sphynx cat, and while they absolutely need sweaters to stay warm (especially in our drafty house!), convincing him of that is another story. He's usually such a sweet, cuddly boy, but when the sweaters come out, his inner drama king makes an appearance. He'll walk around like he's carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders, or dramatically flop onto the floor, refusing to move. It's the latest in his series of cat antics! I've been wondering if it's just Nudacris, or if other Sphynx owners experience this too. Does your hairless cat put up a fight when it's sweater weather? Or maybe it's not just Sphynx cats! I've seen videos of regular furry cats who despise wearing anything. Is there a secret trick I'm missing? I've tried positive reinforcement with treats, making it a quick process, and even just letting him wear it for short periods before taking it off. Still, the pouting continues! Honestly, part of me thinks he just enjoys the attention he gets from being so grumpy. Every time he gives me that 'I hate this' stare, I can't help but laugh and give him extra snuggles. Maybe that's his master plan all along! It's definitely a unique part of his personality, and it makes for some pretty epic photos, if I do say so myself. So, for this Nudacris update, the verdict is: he's still a diva when it's fashion time. But hey, that's why we love him, right? He keeps life interesting!
