Trying not to breathe too loud the entire time 🥹
This was a vow reading session. Loved being able to stand back and just capture.
Photographing intimate moments like vow readings requires more than just technical skill; it demands sensitivity and discretion. From personal experience as a wedding photographer, I've learned that the key is to be as unobtrusive as possible—this means trying not to breathe too loudly or make sudden movements that might distract the couple. Hiding behind plants or flowers not only helps you stay out of sight but also offers creative opportunities to capture beautiful foregrounds that add depth to photos. Using a 360 camera can be a double-edged sword; while it provides unique angles, it also requires extra care to remain invisible. Over time, certain crouching or hiding positions can get uncomfortable—especially after 30—so being physically prepared and wearing comfortable clothing is essential. When seeking vantage points, blending with nature or surroundings helps you catch candid, heartfelt expressions that tell a genuine story. This approach aligns well with the ethos of NYC wedding photographers and videographers who strive to document weddings authentically without imposing. By noticing and emphasizing the smaller moments, such as subtle glances or the delicate arrangement of flowers, the resulting images and videos become timeless keepsakes cherished by couples forever.
