this place has got such calm and cozy vibes!🌨️🌲🐿️ it's almost like im visiting someone's home in japan🏡. love their open kitchen concept, the drinks and carbonaras were made to order, right in front of your eyes!
udon bacon carbonara
sauce is extremely authentic and true to the italian flavours, with an intensed flavour of egg and cheese. 🥚🧀 the udon was soft and springy, just like the ones from donki! however the mentaiko piped on top of this dish got lost when mixed into the udon and i could barely taste it. the bacon🥓 was super good! its thick cut and not too salty. overall, this dish was very rich tasting and they were definitely not stingy with the cheese!🫕
houjicha latte
freaking good, the best houjicha latte i've tasted in sg, the roasted scent and sweet aftertaste was mind boggling.
matcha latte
damn good as well! matcha used was a quality one and the milk comes through particularly well in this drink.🍵
total bill with two udon carbonaras and two lattes came up to be $50.36, would definitely return for their revamped menu in 2025 heh!🍞
during my previous visit, they also had a bakery, which was a 2 min walk away from the cafe, but it is now closed. their milk bread was super good!! speaking of bakes, this cafe currently sells financiers, baked within the cafe, at $2 per piece, they would also warm it up before serving.🍡
its the first time it has occured to me but the internet connection here was so bad HAHA, when i was queuing outside, a tele msg took forever to be sent out haha. as soon as ive entered the cafe, the connection started working well🛜
i reached 30 mins before opening and was second in queue! as there were only limited seating, approx 6 tables, so i would also reccomend you to come early to queue. when i visited that day, they opened 15 mins before opening and man i was so glad bc getting to the cafe itself was a workout in itself🏃🏻♀️
