Tips for for body recomp with a fast metabolism 🏋🏻♀️
My weight fluctuates often, but I feel my best (I’m 5’4) @ 135 lbs. The first pic I was 105 & the second was 130. Here’s my tips for keeping weight on as a fast metabolism girlie.
🍴EAT BREAKFAST! I never really cared for breakfast and would often skip it for a small snack. Because your body processes foods faster, it’s better to get something of substance in there early on. I usually like carbs (a breakfast sandwich or hash browns) as they are good fuel for my day.
💊 VITAMINS! People with fast metabolisms often are anemic (iron pills should be taken SEPERATELY from other supplements). They also tend to be deficient in other major vitamins such a vitamin D. You can work out every day but if your body is lacking core compounds, you may as well have skipped it. STRESS also can lend to weight loss. Try keeping cortisol levels low.
🕥 CONSISTENCY! I wish I could say in a week you’ll be thicker than a snicker. But that’s not a realistic expectation. Those IG/TT fitness people don’t tell you it’s gonna be at least 2 months before you see any substantial progress. Especially if you’re recomping. You’re fighting your body’s natural metabolic rate and muscle building process.
Lift heavy and try not to freak out about gains in other places from fueling your body. Get that gyatt then hit the cardio once you like your results 😂

Understanding the signs and symptoms of a fast metabolism can significantly influence your body recomposition journey. Common indicators include difficulty gaining weight, frequent sweating, and increased energy levels. Those with a fast metabolism often experience anemia, which makes it crucial to incorporate iron-rich foods and consult healthcare professionals about supplementation. Vitamins like D and B12 are also essential for overall health and muscle recovery. To optimize your routine, focus on nutrient-dense meals that provide sustained energy. Incorporating whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats can support muscle growth while keeping your metabolism active. Remember, patience is key; visible results may take time, so aim for realistic goals and celebrate small victories along the way. Combining strength training with adequate rest is vital to enhance muscle development and recovery, especially for those facing rapid metabolic rates. Lastly, managing stress through mindfulness techniques or regular exercise can help maintain a balanced approach to your fitness and wellness goals. Engaging with a supportive community can also provide motivation and accountability as you work on your body recomposition journey.
