From TikTok to This

📅 Date: 12/21/2024

My Story: for all my 7 years of making 12 videos every day on TikTok this is what it has come to losing the majority of my followers after joining this app hoping I can regain that and more with the hard work that I always put in

How I Felt: honestly, I really don’t know how to feel, especially with the fact that this might be the new balance from TikTok, but I genuinely hope that I can do my great work of acting and now photography here

My Takeaways: honestly I’m just hoping I didn’t lose any important followers that were inspired by me and didn’t lose good friends that I had made along the way during my years of TikTok

... Read moreTransitioning from TikTok to a new platform can be both exciting and daunting for content creators. As a content creator born in 2004 in New York City, I've dedicated seven years to crafting engaging videos, consistently posting 12 daily. This experience has taught me the importance of adaptability in the ever-evolving digital landscape. Creators often fear losing followers during transitions; however, it's essential to focus on the opportunity to reach new audiences and innovate your craft. Embracing vulnerability is key in sharing the process of finding your voice on new platforms. This journey allows room for personal growth and genuinely connecting with viewers, building a supportive community in the realm of photography and acting. Acknowledging past efforts on TikTok, I aim to translate that passion into meaningful content here, offering insights into the life of a creator while encouraging others to share their stories. Content creation is not just about the numbers; it's about the relationships forged through shared experiences and creativity. Engaging with like-minded individuals and fostering genuine interactions can transform the struggle of change into a rewarding adventure.
