Because there’s no one to tell me not to!
Growing up in a strict household where “kids just being kids” didn’t exist.
Growing up in household where what I did today would’ve ended in me getting in trouble, yelled at, etc.
Now that I am in my own house, my own happy place, I’ve been trying to do things that I always wanted to do when I was a kid!
This may seem like a silly post to some, but for me it was definitely a inner child healing experience! 😁

In many households, particularly those with strict upbringing, individual expression can be stifled. This often leads to a disconnect with one's inner child, resulting in feelings of inadequacy and suppressed desires. As adults, many seek to reconnect with that playful part of themselves, which is crucial for emotional healing. This process—often referred to as 'inner child healing'—allows individuals to confront past traumas and learn to accept and love themselves fully. Activities like playing outside, experimenting boldly with hairstyles, such as natural hair care techniques, or exploring nature can serve as significant steps in this journey of self-rediscovery. It is empowering to engage in these activities liberally and to reflect on the joy they bring, akin to a child experiencing the world for the first time. Enjoying simple pleasures without the fear of judgment can help break generational curses that restrict joy and freedom. Embracing self-love is about nurturing oneself and understanding the importance of childhood experiences in shaping our identity. Healing is multifaceted, involving mental, emotional, and sometimes physical aspects. Engaging with communities that encourage sharing and authenticity, such as the Lemon8 platform, can enrich this process. By connecting with others who have similar experiences, we can share insights and encourage each other on our paths to reclaiming joy and freedom.

I did this to me and my son about two years ago and I let him take a shower outside 😂
