Anime is my love language

2025/1/20 Edited to

... Read moreFor me, anime truly is one of my biggest love languages. There's nothing quite like settling in to watch ANIME, especially when you find a story that just clicks with your soul. I literally could watch anime all day, and I often find myself wishing I could sit back and watch ANIMES on call with me with my best friends, sharing in the emotional rollercoasters and beautiful artwork. Recently, a lot of friends and fellow anime lovers have been asking about 'Kase-san and Morning Glories,' specifically wondering about its availability. The biggest question I keep hearing is, 'Is Kase-san and Morning Glories on Netflix?' I totally get why this is a common query! Netflix is often our first stop for streaming, but for certain gems, especially OVAs (Original Video Animations) like this one, we sometimes have to look a little further. After doing some digging myself, I can confirm that 'Kase-san and Morning Glories' isn't typically found on Netflix. While Netflix has an incredible anime library, this particular title has historically been available on dedicated anime streaming platforms like Crunchyroll or HIDIVE. It's a common scenario for many fantastic, slightly more niche anime titles, but don't let that deter you from seeking it out – it is absolutely worth the effort! This beautiful OVA tells the heartwarming story of Yui Yamada, a shy, plant-loving girl, and Tomoka Kase, a charismatic track star. Their developing relationship is just so pure and authentically portrayed. It’s a gentle, tender romance that explores first love, self-discovery, and the joy of finding someone who truly understands you. Watching them navigate their feelings, support each other's dreams, and simply exist together is incredibly endearing. It reminds me of those precious moments when you can just watch ANIME with someone and feel that deep connection, almost like we're best friends sharing a quiet, comfortable understanding. These characters genuinely feel like they could be your best friends, making their journey even more impactful. What makes 'Kase-san and Morning Glories' so special, and why it's a must-watch in my book, is its genuine portrayal of a budding LGBTQ+ romance. It’s not just about the romance itself, but also about friendship, acceptance, and the small, everyday gestures that build a deep connection. The animation is gorgeous, and the storytelling is subtle yet powerful, pulling you into Yamada and Kase's world. For anyone who appreciates stories that celebrate genuine human emotion and beautifully animated relationships, Kase-san is a gem that truly speaks to the heart. It really captures that feeling of anime being a love language, connecting us to stories that resonate deeply. So, while it may not be on Netflix, I highly recommend checking out Crunchyroll or HIDIVE to experience this beautiful story!
