NON Basic Tips I Used to Lose 35 Pounds w/ PCOS!
Hey guys! Here’s the long awaited part 2 to my how to post. :) Today i wanted to share some of my little tips that have had a HUGE impact on my journey. Hope this helps!!!
1. CONSISTENCY‼️
This HAS to be the first one. Without being consistent with my caloric deficit and gym routine, I would not have made nearly as much progress as I have. On days you don’t want to go to the gym remember, it’s about DISCIPLINE not MOTIVATION. Even if you don’t WANT to go, you knowing it is beneficial to you should push you to go regardless.
*But it is okay to take breaks when needed.
2. SURROUNDINGS👀
What/who you surround yourself with has had a huge and i mean HUGE impact on my journey. I love watching people play sports and do exercises, it inspires me and makes me want to keep pushing my body to get there. My social media is all fitness based, and honestly watching weight loss stories helps keep me accountable. I’m not sure why, but this has legitimately changed the game for me.
3. SURROUNDINGS PT. 2 🫵🏼
People are included in this! My friends get that before my caloric deficit, I could go out to eat whenever, now they get that we can do different things to hang out, and it doesn’t have to necessarily be food based. My family is included, and they usually ask if it’s okay if they eat fast food around me, so I don’t get cravings.
4. YOU❤️
It starts with you. I know you see a lot of people telling you just start today and stick with it! But it’s not always that simple. For years YEARS i was on and off eating well and working out, i would get bursts of motivation and eventually they would just fizzle out. It was one day I looked in the mirror and legit cried that pushed me to where i am today. That one heavy moment along with the progress you see is what keeps you going. you have to find your WHY. And show up when you don’t want to. Show up through the hard days through heart break and i promise you you will see results and get better.
I hope these little tips helped :) I’ll post more tips soon, leave a like save or a follow so we can take on this journey together❤️
Living with PCOS can present unique challenges for weight loss, but understanding your body and its needs is crucial. One effective approach is to focus on a balanced diet rich in whole foods, including plenty of fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins. Implementing a caloric deficit can be beneficial, but it's important to personalize your caloric needs based on your activity level and metabolic health. Engaging in regular physical activity can help improve insulin sensitivity and maintain hormonal balance. Consider strength training alongside cardio to enhance muscle mass, which can help in managing weight effectively. Don't forget the psychological aspect - surrounding yourself with supportive individuals and a positive environment can help keep you motivated. Connecting with online communities can provide accountability and inspiration. Remember, finding your personal 'why' and acknowledging your progress, no matter how small, is key in this journey. Stay informed by considering professional advice tailored to your circumstances. Ultimately, the journey of losing weight with PCOS is about more than just the scale; it's about building healthy habits and maintaining a lifestyle that supports your overall well-being.

Also i know the first and last ones can be considered basic😭 but they are all valid tips❤️
