Review:

In all honesty this book fulfilled my fantasy expectations since it is a fantasy book (lol). This book is a short story compilation, so most of the stories are fantasy and romance AKA romantasy. One of the short stories in the book that I enjoyed was a story about an immortal boy who after every life time finds his true love, unfortunately this lifetime in the story he finds his true love of his life in the body of a 16-year-old prep school girl, she does not remember who she really is or even who he really is. He continues to “woo” her much to the chagrin of her and her friends, ironically their teacher puts them together for a partner project on one of the dynasty’s which was easy for the boy since they lived through it. The girl agreed to go on a date with him if they manage to get an “A”, before the story ended they were walking back to their room and she grabbed his hand and she remembered everything from their past. Honestly that story and another story that I do not have space to elaborate about made me believe that love like that just might exist. I mean if an immortal being can never stop searching for his true love than neither should we, no matter the obstacles we face.

🎀Fave Quote🎀: “ I echo the same promises I made to you a thousand years ago. Yet all that time has not been enough. We have had a thousand years, and I want a thousand more.”

... Read moreWhen I first picked up 'Eternally Yours' by Patrice Caldwell, I was immediately drawn to its promise of unique fantasy romance. And let me tell you, this book delivered a solid 5-star experience! It’s a short story compilation, which I adore because it offers a variety of perspectives and narratives, all centered around the captivating theme of enduring love. The title 'Eternally Yours' truly encapsulates the heart of this collection. For me, the meaning behind 'Eternally Yours' isn't just about a declaration of love, but the relentless, sometimes challenging, journey to find and reclaim it across time and even different realities. Each story, while distinct, weaves this thread of timeless connection beautifully. One particular tale, about an immortal boy who repeatedly finds his soulmate, only for her to be reborn without memory, really resonated with me. It’s a poignant exploration of destiny and perseverance in love, making you ponder if such an unbreakable bond could truly exist. What makes Patrice Caldwell’s writing in 'Eternally Yours' so engaging is her ability to craft rich worlds and complex characters within the confines of a short story. You get pulled into each narrative swiftly, feeling the emotional weight and magical allure almost instantly. The collection is a true 'romantasy' gem, blending fantastical elements with heartfelt romance in a way that feels both classic and refreshingly modern. It’s perfect for anyone who loves their love stories with a touch of magic, destiny, and perhaps a few centuries of yearning. Even the book cover itself for 'Eternally Yours' gives you a hint of the magic within. With its striking imagery of a skeleton's ribcage entwined with vibrant red roses, purple, and yellow flowers against a pink and purple background, it perfectly symbolizes the blend of life, death, and undying passion you’ll find in these pages. The cover art sets the tone for the deep, sometimes melancholic, yet ultimately hopeful stories of eternal love that Patrice Caldwell masterfully tells. It's not just a 'book review' I'm sharing; it's an invitation to experience powerful storytelling. Overall, if you're searching for a book that will make you believe in love that transcends time and space, I highly recommend 'Eternally Yours'. It’s a collection that lingers in your mind long after you've turned the final page, leaving you with a sense of wonder and perhaps a renewed hope for your own enduring connections. This 'Eternally Yours book review' comes from the heart, and I genuinely believe it's a must-read for fans of the genre.
