Makeup Therapy Day 2
Hey y’all ! This is day two of makeup therapy. These past few days have been taking your girl through it. Being a new makeup artist in a big city is not for the weak ! I can’t lie I definetly thought I would just make a post and get at least 5 people wanting to book with me but that didn’t happen at all. One week opening appointments to everyone and I haven’t got one client. However, I have faith that f I keep showing up everyday and presenting look after look everyday someone will see it and more will book. So here’s to day 2 🥂
Also I took that last shade back and color matched myself correctly and bam ! It’s better now 😘
Makeup therapy is not just about applying cosmetics but also about finding empowerment and confidence through artistry. As a new makeup artist, facing initial hurdles is common; however, embracing each look created leads to growth and motivation. Techniques such as color matching play a crucial role in refining skills, enhancing client satisfaction, and ultimately attracting new bookings. Building an online presence may require patience, and it’s essential to engage with the community, share progress, and seek feedback. Social media platforms can be a powerful tool for showcasing your unique style and connecting with potential clients. Moreover, networking with fellow makeup artists can provide guidance and new opportunities. Joining groups or attending makeup workshops can expand knowledge and build valuable connections within the industry. Remember, every artist starts somewhere; resilience and passion pave the way for success. Celebrate small wins, stay dedicated to personal growth, and keep pushing forward, knowing that every effort counts in your journey to becoming a successful makeup artist.
